Jake Paul is desperately searching for his next opponent. Having defeated the legendary Mike Tyson last year on a huge Netflix card, ‘The Problem Child’ needs a big enough name to keep his momentum going. It appears the 28-year-old is ready to give his rival Tommy Fury a shot at making $3 million, and the offer could grow if a condition is met.
In the meantime, controversial mixed martial artist Dillon Danis has joined the conversation. Danis, of course, fought the older Paul brother back in 2023, which turned into an all-out war inside the ring between the two teams. Regardless, coming back to Paul and Fury, the pair originally met in February 2023, where ‘El Gallo’ recorded his only career loss despite dropping Fury in late rounds.
After some failed discussions with Canelo Alvarez, Gervonta Davis, and Anthony Joshua for a bout, Jake Paul finally responded to a callout from Fury on social media. “I’m offering Tommy Fury $3 million to fight me in 2025,” Paul wrote on X. “The number is $4 million if he can legally get into the US. Let’s see who is ducking who.”
It’s worth noting that Fury was unable to travel to the US for their first fight back in 2023. And it appears the issue is lingering with the Brit to this day. A sequel between the pair is a lucrative opportunity for all the parties involved, but Tommy Fury isn’t quite satisfied with the numbers. “No worries at all mate, hope that loss doesn’t eat you up too much,” he responded to Paul.
Why would I agree to that when it’s less than our first fight AND I beat you. You’re deluded. You claim to be a good businessman, if you want to talk business properly, I’m there. But don’t throw me stupid offers you know won’t get accepted.
It’s clear to see that you’re just… https://t.co/TQRm3VY6rg

“Just know, that you never had enough b**ls to try and avenge your loss. You’re right, we are different… I’m a winner and you’re a loser,” Fury continued. “Why would I agree to that when it’s less than our first fight AND I beat you? You’re deluded… You claim to be a good businessman, if you want to talk business properly, I’m there. But don’t throw me stupid offers you know won’t get accepted.”
“It’s clear to see that you’re just using the money as an excuse to get away from this rematch,” he added. “You brag about making $50m for fights but yet won’t pay up for the only real fight you have left. Showing your true colours my friend. Keep running scared. I’ll see you very soon… [duck emojis].” Since the back and forth, Danis has decided to share his two cents on the matter.
Dillon Danis ropes on KSI amid Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight offer
Danis was supposed to square off against Paul’s rival KSI back in January 2024 but pulled out of the fight, claiming he was underprepared. A fight between them was renegotiated for March 29th after ex-Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge pulled out of a bout against KSI. However, days ahead of the KSI vs. Danis fight, the British YouTuber also withdrew from the bout due to an illness.
How am I making more to fight KSI, and Jake calls himself the face of boxing? https://t.co/7UxytyOWOA

It’s unclear who Danis will fight instead of KSI now, but after Jake Paul made Tommy Fury the $3 million offer, Danis didn’t shy away from flaunting his paycheck for the fight. “How am I making more to fight KSI, and Jake calls himself the face of boxing? .” Danis responded to Paul’s offer to Tommy Fury. Tommy Fury has not fought since his close win over KSI in 2023.
Having said that, the future of the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury rematch seems uncertain as both fighters look for their next assignment in the ring. Do you think Paul is lowballing Fury?
