Pete DeBoer’s boys are 2-1 up in the best-of-seven-game series and will need just two more wins to advance to the next round. By the end of the second period, the hosts have a narrow 2-1 lead over the Jets. And they won’t be running short on cheers for the remainder of the game either.

The Dallas Wings’ point guard, Paige Buecker, showed up to lend her support to the in-city NHL team.
