Jerry Jones said the Cowboys wouldn’t go big in free agency. Classic misdirection. Because now, Dallas is reportedly making a move for one of the biggest names still on the market—Cooper Kupp. Yeah, that Cooper Kupp. The one who torched defenses in 2021 and walked away with Offensive Player of the Year honors. The Rams cut him loose, and now, the Cowboys want in.
According to Adam Schefter, Dallas is “pushing to sign” the former Rams star. Makes sense. Last season, CeeDee Lamb was the guy, but the Cowboys didn’t have a true WR2. They tried. It didn’t work. Kupp would fix that in an instant. A healthy Kupp and Lamb on the same field? Dak Prescott wouldn’t hate that.
Of course, the Cowboys aren’t the only ones circling. Dianna Russini reports that the Seahawks are also in the mix. And we all know Pete Carroll (even in retirement) loves to stack weapons. So, is Kupp heading to Dallas or Seattle? Or is there a mystery team ready to crash the party?
We might not have to wait long to find out. Schefter says Kupp’s decision could come as soon as today. So, buckle up. This one’s moving fast.
