“Conor Never Fighting Again”- Dana White’s Plan Ruined as Fans Triggered Over Conor McGregor & Nelk Boys’ Party

4 min read

“If he does fight, it’ll be sometime next year (2025).” Dana White had sparked a ray of hope in the fighting community when he hinted at Conor McGregor’s return to the UFC. And the UFC head honcho stuck to his plan of having McGregor fight in the later part of 2025. However, it seems like the former UFC double champion is not ready to make the comeback. The reason? Let’s find out!

On 14 March 2025, Full Send MMA shared a video of the Irish fighter having an interaction with the Canadian-American YouTube channel and entertainment providers, Nelk Boys. The caption to the video read, “Conor McGregor crushing one with the Nelk Boys at the Black Forge Inn.” Well, the members of the company were present at the Black Forge Inn when McGregor sighted them.

Not just that. The video also showed ‘The Notorious’ having a beer chugging contest with the YouTubers. With a pint full of Forged Irish Stout, the Nelk Boys couldn’t say no. But McGregor wasn’t done yet. He made sure that the YouTubers felt at home as he announced that everything they ordered was on the house. Talk about a generous treat, right? But little did ‘Mystic Mac’ know that the act would have quite a bit of repercussions.

As soon as the visuals went live on Instagram, the fighting realm took over the comments section to reveal their thoughts. Most of the fans believed that Conor McGregor was not going to fight anytime soon. This indeed put Dana White’s plan for the Irishman in a bit of jeopardy. Let’s see what the fighting community had to say.

Fight fans suspect Dana White’s plan for Conor McGregor is going to fail

Back when McGregor’s fight against Michael Chandler was announced for UFC 303, the entire world of mixed martial arts bustled with excitement. And that hype went down as quickly with the Dubliner pulling out because of the broken pinky toe. While the fight fans still hoped for McGregor to make a return, his lavish acts extinguished it all. Weighing in on that, a fan commented, “Conor never fighting again.” Another fan added, “He ain’t fighting any day soon.”

Many fans even made a comment on the former double champion’s training regimen. Well, instead of training for his return, he was often involved in partying. And this has been worrying the fight fans for ages. One fan decided to make a sarcastic comment on that and quoted, “Conor’s training regimen goes hard.” Another fan reflected on the Irishman’s downfall in the fighting realm. The comment read, “His downfall should be studied. He is never fighting again.”

But there were fans who seemed to think of it as the good stuff. Well, having a celebrated mixed martial artist and famous group of YouTubers did excite the netizens. One of the fanboys wrote, “Thats so dope .” Another fan added, “Imagine spending st pattys in Dublin with Nelk and Conor… good lord.” Meanwhile, some of the fans pushed Joe Rogan to put McGregor in one of his podcast episodes. After all, ‘The Notorious’ has been recently making some noise about that. One fan commented, “Conor is doing the podcast LFG!!!” One more fan wrote, “Get him on the pod!!”
