Conor McGregor Has 1 Perfect Word for Dee Devlin to Echo Public Sentiment Amid Nikita Hand Case

4 min read

Conor McGregor has never shied away from making controversies, whether in the Octagon or on social media. However, as legal issues continue to loom over his career, the Irish fighter appears to be relying on the one person who has stood by his side throughout—his fiancée, Dee Devlin. With the Nikita Hand case taking a major hit on his reputation and the Paul Hughes beef still causing controversy, McGregor took to Instagram to make a clear message about where he stands, not only as a fighter but also as a man. And he did it with just a single word.

McGregor took a picture from a page called lovesfera to his Instagram story to reshare, which included a selfie of him and Devlin. The original caption read, “Champion both in and out of the Octagon,” but McGregor added his own touch by simply writing, “Winning .” The post comes at a time when many people have distanced themselves from him owing to his constant legal troubles and controversies, but Devlin’s unflinching support remains constant. McGregor’s message was more than just about his relationship; it was a declaration that, despite everything, he still sees himself on top as long as he has his fiancée by his side.

In fact, it is also the common public sentiment that the Irishman is winning in life with such a supporting partner. So, it is no surprise that such a display of appreciation for Devlin is nothing new for ‘The Notorious.’ Just a few days ago, he shared a picture of her at the Black Forge Inn, accompanied by heartfelt emojis. He also posted a picture of his son Rian, praising his trendy clothes and calling him “as cool as it gets.” Even when problems erupt, McGregor highlights the love and stability his family gives. It is evident that, regardless of what the world believes, he has already won where it counts the most.

While critics continue to criticize him, he makes it obvious through stories like these that his priorities are with those who have supported him. It remains to be seen whether the legal struggle will change anything, but for the time being, Conor McGregor is relying on one thing: his family’s loyalty.

But will that constant support also help the Irishman to find his way back to the Octagon? Not according to Dana White.

Dana White casts doubts on Conor McGregor’s return to the UFC  in 2025

Conor McGregor has not fought since 2021; therefore, it will probably be some time before he returns to the biggest MMA promotion in the world. Dana White, the UFC’s CEO, made this information public. When a journalist asked the UFC head honcho about the return of ‘The Notorious’ in Saudi Arabia, he kept it discreet. At the post-UFC Saudi Arabia press conference, the head honcho was brief yet concise, skeptical about the future of the company’s former two-division champion.

We should reiterate that over the years, White has repeatedly expressed his desire to see Conor McGregor fight again in the organization. In fact, Dana White stated that he would usher in the entry of the Irishman in 2025 and expected his return towards the latter half of the year. However, White has now changed his tune, implying that ‘Notorious’ does not have a set return date for fighting in the UFC. “I’m not sure when Conor will return,” he said.

Despite being a UFC fighter, Conor McGregor is more interested in competing again inside a boxing ring. In fact, in December, the biggest MMA promotion in the world’s former champion startled the combat sports industry by flaming speculation that he would fight Logan Paul in a billion-dollar boxing bout in India. However, the massive news was later debunked to be nothing else than a fabricated claim by the Irishman. What do you think? Will Conor McGregor make his return in 2025? Let us know in the comments.
