Seven years later, Karl-Anthony Towns once again fell prey to an unresolved beef! Yeah, the one with Jimmy Butler. Despite the players having switched teams since their fallout at the Minnesota Timberwolves, fans kept their receipts in check. Tonight, the LA crowd dug out the past to distract the NY Knicks big man, as the team struggles to get back to their winning ways amid Draymond Green’s controversial remark.
Last night, Jalen Brunson suffered a scary ankle injury, forcing him out for at least two weeks. So, the responsibility falls on KAT to shoulder the team in the regular season’s last stretch. However, LA crowd doesn’t seem to have any sympathies. Taking on the Clippers at Intuit Dome, Towns had a tough time shooting free throws.
At one point, when Karl-Anthony Towns was at the line, the famous fan wall of the Dome raised ‘Jimmy Butler’ chants. However, it didn’t seem to affect the 29-year-old, as he shot the FT, all net.
