Championship teams are built on more than just superstar quarterbacks and highlight-reel touchdowns. In the trenches, where games are often won or lost, Kansas City has relied on a tough, disciplined defensive line to fuel its dynasty. But as the Chiefs gear up for another title run (let’s call it a revenge tour), change is in the air.
On one hand, the Chiefs are bringing back Marlon Tuipulotu. His agency spilled the beans that Kansas City is locking him in again, though the contract details are still hush-hush. It looks like they liked what they saw from him last season. Tuipulotu’s been a solid piece of the puzzle, and now he’s sticking around to help keep Andy Reid’s defense in check. Tuipulotu was on a one-year deal with Kansas City worth $1M.

But it’s not all happy reunions. On the other hand, the Chiefs are saying goodbye to Derrick Nnadi, who’s been with the team since 2018 and bagged himself three Super Bowl rings along the way. That’s some serious legacy right there. Nnadi’s trading red for green, heading to the New York Jets after parting ways with KC.
This is a developing story. Stay tuned…
