It was a game full of thrills and nervous moments as the Washington Capitals edged past the New York Rangers 3-2 to win a thrilling game of ice hockey. With the scores tied at 2 goals apiece, the Capitals required overtime to score the winning goal and consolidate the top spot in the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference. Furthermore, it was a back-to-back victory for the Capitals, having won against the Senators a couple of days back. The thrilling win over their rivals made it even sweeter and they couldn’t keep calm after prevailing in a tight contest, mocking the Rangers by using MrBeast’s Vlog.

For those unknown, MrBeast is a huge fan of hockey and his favorite team in the NHL is the New York Rangers. On several occasions, the renowned Vlogger has shared his fandom for the Rangers and often cheered for them inside the stadium. As a result, when the Rangers were up against their rivals, MrBeast made sure to make his presence felt.

However, his team ended up on the losing side and he later shared a new Vlog which described his visit to the NHL game between the Capitals and the Rangers. MrBeast titled the video ‘I spent three hours at Madison Square Garden just to watch the Rangers lose.’ It portrayed how heartbroken MrBeast was after his team went down fighting in a thrilling contest and he stayed till the very end to cheer his team up. Nonetheless, the Capitals took a cheeky dig toward him and the Rangers and shared a snapshot of his Vlog on their official X handle. Additionally, the Capitals captioned the post, “Make sure to hit that subscribe button,” as they made a mockery of his visit to Madison Square Garden.

However, this isn’t the first time in the recent past that MrBeast went on to cheer for his team in the stadium. During the Rangers’ game against the Islanders which they won 4-0, the renowned Vlogger cheered for his team as they emerged victorious. “MrBeast in a Messier jersey LMAOOO all the kids just tried to run after him,” wrote a fan, who spotted him in the stadium. While MrBeast has been quite vocal about his favorite NHL team, he is also bringing about a massive change in the hockey world through a noble cause.

When MrBeast showed his soft side for hockey

A couple of years back, MrBeast was involved in a noble cause for the para hockey players. He sent his team to attend the GTA Youth Blind Hockey program while he was shooting his latest video. However, it wasn’t just that as MrBeast also donated a sum of $20,000 for the betterment of the program.

Explaining how MrBeast’s contribution will help in the future, the Canadian Blind Hockey revealed, “This donation is going to go a long way towards inspiring kids who are blind or visually impaired to strap on the skates and step outside of their comfort zone.” Additionally, his team also got to learn the ins and outs of hockey and the young hockey players received new gear as a surprise from them.

It is just one among the many noble causes that MrBeast has been involved in and this clearly portrays his love for sports in general and hockey in particular. Although his favorite team didn’t have the best outing against the Capitals, MrBeast would hope that they can have a quick turnaround in their fortunes and get back to winning ways.
