Indiana Fever suffered a hard-fought 8-point loss in their first game against the Las Vegas Aces. While Aliyah Boston scored 26 points for the roster, Fever star Caitlin Clark struggled to find momentum in the first half. Fever head coach, Stephanie White addressed the alarming 1-for-17 as a wake up call for the locker room.

“Every game plan is going to be to make sure she scores inside the three-point line and the different ways in which they are going to do that,” Stephanie White said. “Physicality, coverage, showing bodies, and all the different things that we have to do a better job of getting a higher quality looks.
“The thing I’m worried about is our 18 turnovers to 28 points,” White added.
