Although it’s the offseason, if you want to get a glimpse of what’s to come later this year when the season start’s the Summer League is the right place. Teams from all over the league have been battling it out in Las Vegas, as they look to find the best strategies for the upcoming campaign. Not just that, the Summer League is also a way to introduce the rookies to the world. Last season, the world first saw Bronny James in action for the Lakers at Vegas, but he wasn’t the same player he is ahead of his sophomore year.
This season, the Lakers guard has stunned everyone with his performances and has been getting all the attention in Vegas. However, James isn’t a big fan of this unwanted attention. “My head is all over the place,” he told ESPN. “There’s so much going on in Vegas. I personally don’t like summer league at all. I like the competition and the games, but I don’t like coming to Vegas and being in Vegas … After this, I’m just doing nothing.” The young guard stated that despite good competition, he isn’t a big fan of the Summer League.
