Brazilian Connection Links Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark as Chicago Follows Indiana’s Lead

2 min read

Four more months before we all get to see our beloved WNBA stars back on court. While some like Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart, and more, are still playing their game in the newly formed Unrivaled, a lot have still either opted out or are playing abroad! And if you are a Caitlin Clark fan like me, you’ll finally be able to see her once the new season kicks off!

WNBA teams are busy finalizing their pre-season schedule which is required to help players build the required match fitness before the high-intensity season begins.

The Indiana Fever have added an exciting preseason game to their schedule, facing off against the Brazilian National Team at the University of Iowa’s Carver-Hawkeye Arena on May 4. This historic game marks the Fever’s first-ever appearance at the arena, home to former Hawkeye superstar Caitlin Clark! Brazil’s Damiris Dantas, a former Olympic player, will also get a chance to square off against her national team.

The Indiana Fever won’t be the only team taking on the Brazil National Team in the preseason! Caitlin Clark’s arch rival, Angel Reese, is set to return home as the Chicago Sky announced their own matchup against Brazil at LSU’s Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

More updates: it’ll be a homecoming for Angel Reese as the game will be played at LSU on May 6. https://t.co/REv6ce3LCW
