Bruno Silva is officially out of his clash against undefeated flyweight prospect Joshua Van! The Brazilian stalwart was supposed to face the Myanmar prospect, Joshua Van, at UFC 313. However, because of unforeseen reasons, the fighter had to pull out of the clash with a month remaining. The UFC as well as Dana White is yet to release their statement on the topic. Nevertheless, they have already found the replacement fighter for the UFC 313 flyweight clash.
Coming off a knockout defeat at the hands of flyweight contender Manel Kape, Bruno Silva was eager to get back to the win column. However, his pullout will cost him dearly. Regardless, Myanmar prospect Joshua Van will clash with undefeated Japanese fighter Rei Tsuruya at UFC 313.

The UFC CEO Dana White is steadfast in his approach to capture the Japanese fighter to face Joshua Van. With a career record of 10 victories and 0 defeats, Tsuruya is the winner of Road to UFC Season 2. The fighter made his UFC debut last year with an amazing victory over Carlos Hernandez at UFC 303. The young fighter was booked to face Stewart Nicoll at UFC 312. However, the fight never materialized because Nicoll injured himself.
Tsuruya is a young fighter who is ready to take on his opponents. Meanwhile, Van is a seasoned fighter who currently occupies #15th rank in the flyweight division. The UFC flyweight rankings have been busy in 2024, fighting four times and securing three victories. Most recently, the 23-year-old prospect earned a unanimous decision over Cody Durden at UFC 310 in December. The clash between these two young prospects would be interesting. However, let us look at the updated UFC 313 card changed by Dana White.
