According to the latest injury reports, Jonquel Jones is out for the game against the New York Liberty. The reigning Finals MVP, Jones, suffered an ankle sprain against the Phoenix Mercury on June 19, 2025. She suffered the injury during the second quarter at the 8:35 mark. The initial update suggested a 4-6 week recovery period for her. However, Liberty coach Sandy Brondello recently announced that Jonquel Jones has started participating in five-on-five activities. With this update, the Liberty fans will be eager to see their MVP back in action soon.
