Chicago Sky forward athlete, Angel Reese, succumbed to a back injury recently. In fact, the sophomore guard refrained from participating in the open shootaround before the game against Seattle Storm too. But there is respite for fans, as a national reporter shared a promising news regarding the athlete.
National reporter shared a clip on X surrounding the athlete’s injury with a caption that read, “Angel Reese is getting up shots and doing individual work at Sky practice, but she’s not participating in contact drills or team activities during the open portion.”

The 24-second video features Chicago Sky head coach, Tyler Marsh. On being asked about Reese’s playing status ahead of the Indiana Fever tipoff, the HC said, “Angel’s still day-to-day today. We don’t really want to push it too much with the back injury. We want to be careful with that. But she’s progressing as well so it’s day-to-day.”
