The Eagles broke the Chiefs—physically, mentally, and emotionally. The AFC West team couldn’t believe what was happening. Meanwhile, head coach Andy Reid stood on the sidelines, watching the game, analyzing what went wrong, and considering what the team needed in the draft. As we move into the second day of the draft, the coach has made another move to strengthen the defense.

After selecting Tennessee Volunteers defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott in the second round (63rd overall), Reid doubled down on defense by drafting Louisville Cardinals defensive end Ashton Gillotte in the third round (66th overall). Gillotte recorded 26.5 sacks over his four years of college football.
