Alamodome Viewer Reports Questionable CBS Practices During Duke vs Houston’s Final Four Game

2 min read

Duke versus Houston is a matchup that we’ve all wanted to see this year. The Blue Devils have an amazing, well-rounded game, while the Cougars are one of the best defensive teams we’ve ever seen! However, the crowd in San Antonio seems to be a little subdued during the broadcast, and that was an odd experience, to say the least.

Half the thrill of a March Madness game is the crowd. Supporters from both ends were going at it, backing their teams until the very last second because anything can happen, and it felt odd not to hear the uproar in one of the biggest games of the year.

This sentiment was shared by one of the fans watching the Alamodome game. “Why are they quieting the crowd in big games?” They asked on X, stating that nobody wants to hear the commentary over the energy of the crowd.

Why are they quieting the crowd in big games? Can barely hear them during this Duke v Houston game, but you can tell it’s loud. Nobody wants to hear the commentary over cheering. Nobody.
