Jack has represented California and America during his swimming competitions. He has a tattoo dedicated to the Cal swim team. There is a tradition in the team that the members get a Golden Bear Tattoo if they successfully score good points in the NCAA championships. After the 2023 World Championships, Alexy finally got a Golden Bear tattooed behind his left shoulder.
Who Are Jack Alexy’s Siblings?
Jack is one of four siblings—Kate, Max, Rob, and Alexy. All his siblings are also as athletic as he is and are amazing swimmers. He got inspired by his eldest sister Kate, who swam at Kenyon College. Max competed at Delbarton School. Rob currently swims alongside Jack at UC Berkeley.
The siblings trained together from a young age and remain very close. Kate has been a key member of our high school swim team, excelling in backstroke and freestyle competitions. In 2017, as a senior, she was part of the Mendham medley relay team, which tied for first place at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions. Max, who is in the middle of Kate and Jack, also swam competitively in high school. The youngest sibling, Rob, currently swims with Jack at the University of California, Berkeley.
One of Rob’s notable achievements in high school was winning the 100-yard freestyle at the junior NJSIAA Meet of Champions. His success in the pool continues to uphold the family’s legacy of excellence.

Jack is 22 years old (born January 19, 2003). He stands at 6′ 8″ (203 cm), with a weight of 215 lb. His physical stature has been a major advantage in his sprint freestyle and relay roles.
His height provides a reach advantage and helps him with long strokes, giving him less resistance in the water so that he can cover more distance in a shorter time.
Which High School Did Jack Alexy Attend?
Jack went to Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ. By his freshman and junior years, he set state records in the 50‑ and 100‑yard freestyle and earned multiple NJSIAA Meet of Champions titles.
He was a three-time state champion, a three-time Morris County champion, and a back-to-back junior national champion in the 100 freestyle in 2018 and 2019. During high school, he was ranked fifth in SwimSwam’s “Way Too Early Recruit Ranks” for the class of 2021 and later ranked sixth in both the Official Rankings and the Re-rank. In October 2019, he committed to swim for the University of California, Berkeley.
