With the preseason just days away, Andy Reid’s 2025 campaign for the Chiefs has seen a slide. While the entire roster was looking forward to St. Joseph, with the latest developments in injuries, Coach Reid has been pushed to make some major roster calls that no one wanted to see.
As per Pete Sweeney’s latest post on X, on July 30, ten names are notably missing from the camp. “Not practicing for Chiefs on Wednesday, per my view. WR: Brown, Moore, Worthy. TE: Briningstool. OL: Taylor. LB: Bassa. DB: Rush, Bush, Scott, Fulton (PUP)” Hollywood Brown notably had an ankle injury a few days ago. On the same day, Skyy Moore went down with a hamstring injury, and Xavier Worthy banged his head. But that bang on the head ultimately led to something much bigger. As per the latest reports, Xavier Worthy is now on “concussion protocol.” How will Reid work around an already devastated WR room, especially as injuries mount on both sides of the ball?
