The Aces came out on top against the Wings tonight, but just barely. They scraped by with a 4-point win. Every teammate chipped in, some more than others… and Jackie Young the least. Less than 48 hours after dropping 30 vs. the Valkyries, she managed only 2 points tonight. But that wasn’t the only blow she took. With 8:21 left in the game, Jackie Young went down with a right hip injury, and it didn’t look minor.
Because the official word came quick, they said that she wouldn’t be returning. And she didn’t. Now, there’s a cloud of anticipation in the air. Jackie was set to represent the Aces at All-Star Weekend alongside teammate A’ja Wilson, who was voted in as a starter. Her status now though? Suddenly uncertain.
