The Miami Heat are struggling ahead of their upcoming game against the Dallas Mavericks. No, it’s not their form, although that could do with some improvement. No, we’re talking about the fact that their list of injured players simply keeps on growing. And sadly, Bam Adebayo is the latest addition.
A knee injury has ruled out Adebayo for the game against Dallas. And there’s not even a timeline for Adebayo’s return yet. The Heat’s center was having a great season, averaging 16.7 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Adebayo also led the team in steals with 1.2 per game. He also looked great in the Heat’s loss to Oklahoma last night with 27 points and 15 rebounds. The Heat will surely miss his defensive prowess on the court tonight.

But don’t think Bam Adebayo is the only player out for the Heat. As we said, their list of compromised players is still growing. Remember the stomach bug that nearly caused Tyler Herro to miss the Oklahoma City Thunder game? Well, it has a ‘new’ victim.
Yes, the pun was intended because it’s new signee, Andrew Wiggins, who’s the latest to fall to the stomach bug that’s been going around the Miami locker room. Only a couple of games into his Miami career, Wiggins will rue the missed time as he tries to find his place in the Miami squad.
However, as far as the big picture is concerned, Miami is quite shorthanded heading into their upcoming game with only 10 players available in their squad. And 3x All-Star Bam Adebayo believes the problems lie beyond their roster.
