As the 2025 MLB Draft approaches, few names in college baseball have generated as much buzz as Aiva Arquette. The dynamic infielder has captured national attention with his powerful bat and sharp defensive instincts and is set to be the hot commodity of the 2025 MLB draft. But just as Aiva prepares to make his leap to the big leagues, another rising star in the family is beginning to shine.

Well, his sister, Adrianna Arquette, is carving out her legacy on the volleyball court. Athleticism is clearly woven into the Arquette family’s DNA. The Arquette siblings are poised to become a rare double-threat in college sports and soon, professional sports.

For the unfamiliar, Aiva began his journey at the University of Washington, where he quickly established himself as a cornerstone of the Huskies’ lineup. For the Huskies, he hit an impressive 12 home runs. But it was his 19 home runs for Oregon State that truly launched him into stardom. But now it’s time for Adrianna to leap ahead.

Who is Aiva Arquette’s sister? All about Hawaii’s Gatorade Player of the Year, Adrianna Arquette

She was our go-to player and produced every match and contributed in many categories, which allowed her to be the steadying force of our team. She is a rare talent and one of the most skilled and physical scholar-athletes I’ve coached in my 22 years with this team,” Kamehameha-Kapalama head coach Chris Blake commented about Adrianna.

Well, Adrianna is a 5-foot-11 outside hitter, known for leading the Kamehameha Warriors to a 30-3 record and a Division I state championship. And yes, Adrianna is known not only for leadership but also for her killer intent. Last year, as an outside hitter, she racked up 364 kills. That reflects an outrageous 4.3 average per set!

She also recorded 264 digs, 111 blocks, 39 assists, and 30 aces. These numbers demonstrate her domination on the court. It’s enough for Blake to justify her as a rare talent. For instance, in a state title game against Punahou, she finished with 17 kills and 18 digs to help secure the 3-1 win. That performance earned her the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player award. But, there’s more.

Adrianna was recently inducted into the HHSAA Hall of Honor, a fitting recognition for her stellar high school run. This also included being named the Hawaii Gatorade Player of the Year. According to the latest reports, she is heading to the University of Hawaii, where she will play as a setter. This marks a shift from her previous role as an outside hitter role in Kamehameha. It’s a gradual rise in Adrianna’s career, much like how Aiva is progressing.

How is she following her brother to glory? Inside the strong bond of athlete siblings

Aiva is now set to step into the major league via the MLB draft. Meanwhile, Adrianna is preparing to start her college-level volleyball. There’s a similarity in the path both have taken. While Adrianna got selected for the HHSAA Hall of Honor last year, her brother was from the 2022 Hall of Honor class.

My brother is actually recognized in the Hall of Honor as well, so to be up there with him, along with so many other amazing people, it just feels really special,” Adrianna said about following the same route as her brother. While Adrianna is excited to follow in her brother’s footsteps, Aiva seems equally proud.

Last year, Aiva shared the news about his sister being named the Hawai’i State Girls Volleyball Player of the Year over his X handle. That’s what defines the strong sibling bonds between Aiva and Adrianna. Last year, Adrianna Arquette set a season high record with five kills and seven digs against Cal State Fullerton. That hints at what’s to come from her. Meanwhile, we will also wait to see how Aiva fares in the upcoming MLB draft. A better year from the brother-sister duo could be on the horizon.
