Reese finished the game with her fourth double-double game in a row, scoring 24 points, 16 rebounds, and 7 assists. Down by one heading into the fourth, her performances ensured that the Sky went on to win by 7 points against the Sparks. But was Reese going to stop there? Absolutely not! She had a message for her haters right after the game. “I only had four O-boards so it wasn’t just ‘Mebounds’ tonight,” she said in the post-game conference. That’s not all she said, of course. She had shared further receipts.

“Yeah, I mean, I think a lot of times when I get the rebound last year, maybe one game this year, I would go right back up and beat three people around me,” Reese said before the ‘joke’. “And now we have amazing shooters where I can just kick it out and they make the three. And that’s why I have seven assists. So I think it just leaves the points. I mean, when you get rebounds, it’s never a negative. Like when somebody can’t stop you on the boards. I mean, at least the more points for us”.
