“First week in the books and I’m feeling great,” These were Stephen Nedoroscik’s first words when he finally got back in the gym after his Dancing With The Stars stint. And honestly, since we knew the ‘Pommel Horse Guy’ was back in the business, the anticipation for more updates on his gymnastics endeavors had been growing. Well, today, 8 weeks later, he has unexpectedly shocked us with a surprise announcement. It’s so momentous that it’s already got one of Simone Biles’ former teammates reacting to it. What could this be?

On June 28, Stephen Nedoroscik took to Instagram and casually dropped an update, revealing that he has been practicing in full swing of late. His post read, “Day 40, cleanest routine since the Olympics” as the Pommel Horse specialist pulled off a stellar full routine on the apparatus over the Dark Necessities track playing in the background.

Stephen Nedoroscik’s caption further continued to inform the world about his current gymnastics whereabouts. He wrote, “Back to routines, feels great to hit a couple my first week back to sending full sets!!” Yup, the gymnast is digging deeper into his training with each passing day. In fact, he even honestly confessed that he isn’t back to complete flawless form as yet. Because what he just pulled off was good enough for a 14.9 score, since he missed the E dismount (-.2) and two Russians in his flop (-.2).

Reacting to these updates, Simone Biles’ ex teammate, Laurie Hernandez reacted in the comments, “Let’s freaking GO.” Well, looks like Stephen Nedoroscik’s form has truly got her excited that big things might be on their way this season.
