“All the success, all the failures—she’s lived it all with me.” That’s what reigning World Series MVP Freddie Freeman says about his wife—and he means every word. While Freddie keeps lighting up ballparks for the Dodgers, it’s Chelsea Freeman’s quiet strength that powers him behind the scenes. And now, as his cousin takes center court with a tennis dream of her own, Chelsea’s proud voice rises again, cheering, loving, and holding the family legacy a little closer to heart.

Canada’s Carson Branstine, the 21-year-old cousin of Freeman, just earned a spot in the Wimbledon Championships singles main draw. She booked her career-first Grand Slam main draw appearance with an electrifying win in a three-set match against Raluca Georgiana Serban on Thursday: 4-6, 7-6(6), 6-2. And as she gets ready to make her debut at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Chelsea took to Instagram to congratulate Branstine.

“LET’S GOOOO @carsonbranstine!!!” she posted an Instagram story. “She just took out three incredible players to qualify for her very first Grand Slam. WIMBLEDON. Freddie’s cousin—and clearly, athleticism runs in the family. So proud of you, Carson!! The dream is just beginning.” The pride is visible!

The two-time All-American star at Texas A&M had to face Lois Boisson and Bianca Andreescu in the previous two qualifying rounds and emerged victorious.

Branstine also models on the side, using it to help fund her tennis career.

Now, this isn’t the first time Chelsea has shown her support for Branstine. When she made her WTA 125K Cancun final debut months ago, Chelsea shared her excitement in a similar way. “Let’s gooo @carsonbranstine. First WTA Final, she wrote on Instagram. Freeman family athletic genes are strong,” she added.

And it’s not just Freeman and Branstine. Even little Charlie is getting in on the action, already following in his dad’s footsteps.

Chelsea shares her son’s baseball journey

Frederick Charles Freeman II, the eldest of the couple’s three kids, is another sign that baseball runs deep in the Freeman family. Charlie was introduced to the game at an early age, thanks to his three-time Silver Slugger-winning dad. Since then, he’s been learning and growing in Little League.

Charlie even went viral when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch on his father’s bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium on April 11.

Chelsea recently celebrated her son’s win with the Orange County Crush Baseball team. She shared a series of photos celebrating Charlie’s feat, with the caption: “Memorial Day Champions!!! ” The photos featured Chelsea and Charlie with his two younger brothers and his proud dad, posing with the trophy. One of the photos also showed the 8-year-old celebrating with his teammates. A tender memory, the Freemans will treasure always.

Chelsea also shared her experience watching her son’s game. While he was swinging on the diamond, she was battling the scorching sun off the field. Sat in 98 degrees for 7 hours,” she wrote on her Instagram story. Being a baseball mom is clearly no easy job!

Chelsea Freeman is busy raising the future MVP of the family. With one superstar on the field and another in Little League, she’s the one holding it all together – the MVP of the Freeman family.
