With Lyons set to announce his decision on June 24, things just got a whole lot juicier. ON3 insiders Steve Wiltfong and Pete Nakos dropped their expert predictions on June 23, and both are riding with BYU to land the California gunslinger. According ON3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the Cougars got 60% chance of landing Ryder Lyons. His pops, Tim Lyons, suited up for BYU back in the day, and Ryder’s all-in on his LDS faith.For Sitake, landing Lyons would be monumental—BYU’s first 5-star QB since 2009, and only the third ever.
