Why Isn’t Tyler Herro Playing Against Celtics? Heat All-Star Misses Out as Andrew Wiggins Makes Miami Debut

1 min read

With the Jimmy Butler saga finally over, the Heat’s focus now will be to climb the East standings and boost their chances of title contention. And they will head into tonight’s Celtics clash hoping to shake off Friday’s loss against the Nets. However, it will be a night of mixed emotions for the Miami franchise as new recruit Andrew Wiggins will make his highly-anticipated debut, but All-Star Tyler Herro will not be available to accompany him.

Yes, Herro will not suit up tonight. The reason? A stomach illness. Obviously, this is a massive blow to the team because Herro is having an incredible season with career highs all around, at 23.7 points and nearly six assists. In his absence, Wiggins has been moved to the starting lineup for his Heat debut.
