Jayson Tatum Takes Wholesome Measures After St. Louis’ $1.5Bn Disaster Amid Fresh Injury Update

It’s not the comeback Celtics fans were hoping for, but it’s a step. Literally. Jayson Tatum is officially out of the walking boot, according to a viral post on Celtics Forum’s X that reshared the All-Star’s Instagram Story. The photo showed Tatum’s recovering foot, no boot in sight, igniting cautious optimism across Boston.

While he’s still expected to miss the entire season after tearing his Achilles against the Knicks, every small milestone counts. But the real spotlight this week isn’t on his rehab. It’s on his heart. Tatum also used his Instagram to intensify efforts from his Jayson Tatum Foundation, which helped collect over 52,000 pounds of food and essential supplies for tornado victims in his hometown of St. Louis.

The May 16 disaster caused an estimated $1.5 billion in damage and left neighborhoods devastated. Tatum’s foundation partnered with local schools, news outlets, and the St. Louis Area Foodbank to lead the charge.

Even while sidelined from basketball, Tatum’s still delivering — this time, off the court and straight to the people who need him most. A star on pause, but never inactive, for sure! What’s to come? Come back here to find out!

(This is a developing story…)
