Kelly Stafford’s Daughter’s First Major Achievement as Rams International Games Pose Challenge for Stafford Family

Buckle up. It’s a blast, man. We’re like, rocking and rolling, wearing leotards all the time, doing gymnastics around the house—it’s crazy. At this point, I don’t even know what I’d do with a boy. I can’t wrap my head around it,” Rams QB Matthew Stafford told Jason Kelce on the New Heights podcast back in March. Kelce, who was expecting his fourth child with wife Kylie at the time, had asked Stafford for advice on raising four girls.

And if there’s anyone who gets it, it’s Matthew and Kelly Stafford. Parents to four daughters, the two have been handling it all with grace. Though Kelly admits it gets hectic, especially during game season. She’s never shied away from talking about the ups and downs of parenthood, often sharing stories on her The Morning After podcast. And now, she’s opening up about a new challenge that’s around the corner. But before that? There’s another update from the Stafford household that has mom beaming with pride. So what’s the latest from the Rams QB’s girl gang? Well, the reason behind Mom Kelly’s proud moment is their youngest daughter, Tyler. The four-year-old just won her very first medal, and the Staffords couldn’t be happier.

On Monday, Kelly took to Instagram to share the sweet moment, posting a story of little Tyler showing off her big achievement. In the photo, Tyler is wrapped up in Kelly’s arms, proudly holding her shiny new medal in her tiny hands. “My baby and her first medal,” Kelly captioned the adorable snap. It’s safe to say the youngest Stafford is already winning hearts.

Born on June 26, 2020, Tyler is the youngest child of the Stafford family. At only four, she, along with her older sisters Sawyer, Chandler, and Hunter, is learning gymnastics. The Stafford girls are an active bunch, trying their hands at multiple sports. Back in March, they even took part in a community flag football event organized by their dad’s team, making it a true family affair.

So, while Tyler has made his mom, Kelly, proud, she’s also gearing up to face a new kind of challenge. With the Rams getting ready for the 2025 season, the mom of four is already thinking about the hurdles coming her way.

Preparing for the season: Kelly Stafford’s real talk

The Stafford girls always make sure to be there in the stands for Matthew whenever he’s playing. But this season, Kelly is concerned because of the Rams’ schedule. The team will be playing an international game against the Jaguars at London’s Wembley Stadium in October. And even though there are still five good months before that game, Kelly is already worried about traveling all alone with her four young daughters. Last week, on Thursday, during an episode of The Morning After podcast, she admitted that traveling with four kids would “f***ing suck.”

But the mom of four has been handling it gracefully for some years now. So she’s confident about the upcoming challenge. “I love a little challenge,” Kelly said. She also mentioned that the return trip will have a layover in Atlanta, meaning more travel time, which is a bit concerning for her. Ms. Stafford has always been candid about her struggles with parenthood.

Last season, during the playoffs, she had to travel to Arizona for a game against the Vikings. At that time, Kelly was down with the flu along with one of their kids. After the game, she admitted that initially, she had doubts about getting on the same plane as the players because she was sick. But the Rams were supportive and urged Kelly and the kids to travel together with the team. The Rams won that game, beating the Vikings 27-9 and making to the divisional round. “That win, besides the Super Bowl [in 2022], was probably my favorite win while being a Ram,” Kelly Stafford shared on her podcast.

Well, football season’s here again, and mom of four is ready to take on whatever wild ride comes her way.
