Gentle giant – that’s the perfect description for Mekhi Becton, the 6’7”, 363 lbs guard for the Eagles. His NFL career hasn’t panned out the way it was supposed to. Picked by the Jets in Round 1 (pick 11) of the NFL Draft 2020, but major injury setbacks stopped him from developing into his game. And now, in 2024, he is waiting for a 2nd chance that will let him prove his worth in the O-line.
In his personal life, however, Mekhi Becton has been steadily making progress. The 25-year-old has been the talisman for the Becton family. But she and Mekhi have become a big part of each other’s lives, and they have already started a family together, taking a big step in their life’s journey.

Mekhi Sr. and Kay welcomed their son, Mekhi Jr., in 2022. The couple did a gender reveal ceremony, which Kay shared on Instagram. Little Mekhi Jr. is slowly growing up, and let’s just say his mother has been spoiling him with all kinds of delicacies and making sure Mekhi Jr. is getting the right nutrition so that he can also become a big football player like his dad and his grandad.
She has been flaunting her cooking skills, bragging about her home-cooked chicken nuggets, and no doubt she will do anything little Mekhi Jr. After all, she just can’t have enough of his little hands and baby fingers.
