Nuggets Make Huge Aaron Gordan Injury Announcement After Turning Heads With Latest Appearance in Game 7 vs OKC

The second round of the NBA playoffs has reached its twilight. On Sunday, the Denver Nuggets will be taking on the first-seeded OKC Thunder in a thrilling Game 7. Denver was able to force the series to one final game after securing an impressive victory on Thursday. Now, they will look to win it and head to the Western Conference Finals. However, before that they have massive storyline that has been developing ahead of a crucial game.

Denver’s forward, Aaron Gordon, has been the talk of the town. ESPN’s Shams Charania earlier reported that Gordon has suffered a devastating Grade 2 left hamstring injury that typically keeps a player out for several weeks, let alone days. After hearing this, many believed that the 29-year-old would no longer be able to suit up for the do-or-die game today against OKC. Until Denver’s interim head coach, David Adelman, provided a surprising update.

He’s going through the process right now. Grade number, I don’t really know…he’s trying to play,” Adelman said about Gordon. “We’ll see when we get to game time.” This statement left many fans stunned, given the nature of Aaron Gordon’s injury. However, it seems that the Nuggets forward was, in fact, going through a procedure to be able to participate in this game. Denver and its management have left everyone speechless by announcing that Gordon is set to play tonight.

That’s something the team might need tonight. However, keeping that aside, it seems a bit unusual for Gordon to recover from such a massive setback so quickly. This might indicate that the 29-year-old might be risking his fitness. Of course, it will take a lot for Aaron Gordon to suit up for tonight. It could even involve the risk of him sustaining a much more serious injury. Despite that, he’s trying his best to return to the court tonight. Well, you can say he has.
