Draymond Green is one of the more vocal stars on the Dubs’ roster. Be it praising someone or criticizing them, Draymond is the last person who’ll hold back anything. And after Game 6 against the Rockets, the officials in that game caught the ire of Draymond. But rather surprisingly, he and his coach, Steve Kerr don’t see eye-to-eye on this.
You see, during the post-game press conference, Draymond wasn’t really even talking about the referees at first. He was commending the Rockets’ Steven Adams for being such a commanding presence in the paint. However, Dray being Dray meant the officials caught some strays. “He’s having a great impact—doing a great job on the offensive glass and defensively. I just wish we could get a three-second call,” said the Dubs star.
However, Steve Kerr later disagreed during his own post-game press conference when asked about Draymond’s take on the 3-second calls on Adams. “We thought there were three or four of them last night. But it’s not really a call officials make very often. So we can’t worry about it too much,” said Kerr.
