Nobody can argue against the fact that even in the offseason, Caitlin Clark was the headline. And while she had a whole bunch of moments that had fans hooked, there’s one pic that basically broke the internet. Remember that shot by Bri Lewerke? The one of Clark cheering for Iowa during the Big Ten tourney? Yes, that one. People weren’t even looking at the scoreboard, everyone was busy zooming in on her biceps. CC’s arms had their own moment.
Well, turns out, CC had gotten stronger right at the top of her offseason to-do list. “That was my biggest focus in the offseason, just trying to get stronger and really working on that,” Clark shared during Indiana’s practice. “Really thankful to Sarah, our strength and conditioning coach… we were in here consistently. I think that was the biggest thing for myself, just having that consistency, to be able to work on it for six months.”
Basically, her gym mode was activated.
And now that the Fever’s media day pics are out, you can tell she’s been putting in the WORK. Like, she didn’t just clock in, she was there the whole time. Her four-word message on Insta was, “We are so back.” She added, “YEAR 2 .”
The comment section was filled with fans losing it. One said, “Caitlin Clark has been LIVING in the gym.” Another chimed in with, “Omg did Caitlin Clark juice in the offseason ”
