And the Jaguars traded up to 2nd position by swapping with the Browns and grabbed him. The biggest talking point was their quarterback, Shedeur Sanders. His slides didn’t stop until the 5th round when the Browns drafted him 144th overall. For the young boy, it was embarrassing, as his haters mocked him. One of them even prank called him, appearing to draft him. However, amid all the drama about the draft, we missed one major point.
Buffs coach Deion Sanders Coach Prime did embody his name (Prime) with a unique draft feat. They had the highest number of wide receivers (3) selected in the draft out of any college football team. It’s an impressive feat. His youngest son shared the news in an Instagram story, where he also praised his father with 1 word, “Legendary.”
After Travis Hunter in the first round (2nd overall), Ravens drafted LaJohntay Wester in the 6th round (number 203 overall) and the Panthers drafted Jimmy Horn Jr. in the 6th round (208th overall). The Buccaneers also signed his elder son, Safety Shilo Sanders, as an undrafted free agent. As the Packers legend Brett Favre puts it, “It’s what you do when your # is called that matters, not when you were taken.” There were some other revelations as well.
