Former NFL Player Clears Stance on Nick Sirianni After Sharing Thoughts About Replacing Kellen Moore

2 min read

As the Eagles inch closer to their head-to-head against Patrick MahomesChiefs, HC Nick Sirianni has received a shocking update. Super Bowl LIX is just around the corner. Jalen Hurts and Co. are ready to clinch their second Super Bowl victory. But before kick-off, Sirianni’s approach to the biggest game of the season has been encircled by the question of who will be the team’s next offensive coordinator. And why is that? Kellen Moore is considered increasingly likely to get hired by the New Orleans Saints as their head coach.

There is one name going to be debated for sure—their pass game coordinator Kevin Patullo. And he has clarified the question about the future opportunity of getting OC of the Eagles. Speaking of comparisons (particularly similarities) between himself and the head coach, Patullo said, “I would say that’s unfair. If you’re in or around us, you would see we’re not the same. I think we work because we don’t see it the same way, which is good.” The anticipated future offensive coordinator of the Eagles also added, “I’m looking forward to whatever happens. …I’ve had my opportunities over the last couple of years for potential coordinator jobs, and it just hasn’t kind of gone the way maybe I wanted it to, or the way it was supposed to. But we’re here now, and wherever it goes, it’ll go.”

Patullo on the perception that he would be an extension of Nick Sirianni if he were an offensive coordinator: “I would say that’s unfair. If you’re in or around us, you would see we’re not the same. I think we work because we don’t see it the same way, which is good.” https://t.co/l35TDJixju
