Zoey Molomo, a 3x USA National Team member, was on the brink of another defining chapter. She had recently been named to the squad for the 2024 WAG City of Jesolo Trophy—one of the most prestigious annual international meets in women’s gymnastics, scheduled for April 12–13 in Italy.
Everything was building. Confidence. Momentum. Her journey toward the NCAA stage with the UCLA Bruins (Class of 2027) was already in motion.
Then, a routine practice turned into something far worse. A twist, a snap, and a new reality. A torn ACL to which Surgery has followed. And the gymnastics world has taken cognizance of it, and they can’t help but wish the gymnast.
One fan summed up the collective emotion: “Oh what a bummer for her. I hope she’s doing ok.”
The Story is developing!!
