The Golden State is currently red! The team’s fortune has taken a severe hit for the dub nation as their hopes to recover from the brilliant start of 2024 continue to suffer. The Lakers’ loss appalled even Stephen Curry; he learned their season record was 1-20 when trailing after three quarters. And it seems the misery continues to pile on the Warriors, as two players Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga injury update are not positive.
As per Danny Emerman, Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks. Meanwhile, Draymond Green (calf) is day-to-day. The Warriors beat writer explained that Kuminga will begin light individual work this week but won’t return before the trade deadline. For Green, can start partial practice from this week. Truly a start-stop season for the Golden State as they have suffered 6 defeats in the last 10. But the issues are off-court as well.
The addition of Dennis Schroder didn’t work out the way they would have liked. So the Warriors front office is working overtime to add another meaningful piece to the team. Marc Stein reported that the Warriors are the front runners for the Bulls center Nikola Vucevic, however, even that deal is in limbo.
Warriors injury updates:
-Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks. Will begin light individual work this week. Won’t return before trade deadline. He’s missed 11 games and at least 8 more.
-Draymond Green (calf) is day-to-day. Will partially practice this week.
