Transfer Portal Leaves Baylor Community Reeling as Scott Drew Turns Laughing Stock of the NCAA World

2 min read

It might be an understatement to say that the Baylor Bears did not have a great outing in March. Norchad Omier and his teammates, despite their best efforts, were eliminated by a starry Duke roster. Even in the regular season, they struggled quite a bit, ending up at only the seventh position in a competitive Big 12 conference. However, Scott Drew has to deal with quite a lot now!

In an unpredictable flurry, every single member of the Baylor Bears has left for some reason or the other. Only Omier, Nunn, and Roach have graduated, and VJ Edgecombe has declared for the NBA draft. Everyone else? They have entered the transfer portal.

Fans, as expected, aren’t rocking with this shocking update. “Baylor lost their whole Basketball team! How is this allowed to happen? Embarrassing!” A fan said on X, and it was a common sentiment! “If you think your college basketball team has it bad with NIL and the transfer portal, look at Baylor and Indiana.” Another said.
