After the historic feat at the Masters by Rory McIlroy, the excitement level has skyrocketed among the fans. To witness similar adrenaline-filled action and top players in action, the fans are all locked in for the RBC Heritage. The event began in 1969 and now is among the signature events of the PGA Tour, offering a grand purse of $20 million along with 700 FedEx Cup points. To grab the whopping share for the winner, 43 of the top 50 players will be seen in action at the Harbour Town Golf Links.
With the roster having the reigning champion Scottie Scheffler, along with Justin Rose, who missed the Green Jacket in the playoff, it has already caught the attention of the fans. Not just the two, but other prominent names like Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler, Patrick Cantlay, and many others will be showcasing their great golfing.
Scottie Scheffler is back in the mix at the RBC Heritage and is looking to defend his title. The 28-year-old is paired with Viktor Hovland for his first round. The Norwegian has already impressed the golf world with his victory at the Valspar Championship. It will be interesting to witness how they will both take on each other in the first round. The Scheffler-Hovland group, starting from the first hole, is scheduled to tee off at 10:15 AM EDT.
Another golfer who will be in the spotlight is Rickie Fowler. The golfer, with his course struggles, has qualified for the signature event through a sponsor exemption. For the first round at the RBC Heritage, he is paired with Karl Vilips. The rookie has already bagged a victory this season at the Puerto Rico Open. Now paired with the former No. 1 amateur, it will be an interesting matchup. Starting on hole 1, the pair will tee off at 11:10 AM EDT.

RBC Heritage live coverage and streaming
For the live coverage of the entire day, ESPN+ is offering a straight 11 hours of coverage. Fans can tune in to the PGA Tour streaming partner from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM. Additionally, the coverage will feature the marquee groups, featured groups, and featured holes. However, the fans who wish to watch it on TV can tune in to the Golf Channel for the first two rounds from 2 to 6 PM ET. To secure a strong spot, the golfer will have to qualify through the 36-hole cut.
However, when done with that, the golfer can easily start to work on clinching the $3.6 million winner’s share. For the final two days of excitement, fans will have 5 hours of pure golfing experience. Starting from 1 to 3 PM on the Golf Channel, then switching to CBS Sports from 3 to 6 PM.
