NHL Insider Reveals Truth Behind Utah Hockey Club’s Logo Selection, As Fans Pick Their Favorite

2 min read

Well, it seems that the secret did not remain a secret for very long! Despite Smith Entertainment Group’s attempts to conceal the logos for the new NHL team in Salt Lake City, the Utah Hockey Club, the logos became available online a few hours ago. The names “Utah Hockey Club,” “Utah Mammoth,” and “Utah Outlaws” were supposed to stay hush-hush, shown only to fans who voted at Delta Center this week.

Those logos were visible during the games on iPads, but people were told not to use mobile phones. Turns out, that did not prevent the images from reaching X by Monday morning. The concept was to ensure that the fans did not break and scatter the logos, but in today’s digital world, you can’t really hide things for too long, can you? However, now an insider from the NHL is here to give the real facts about the leaked logos of Utah Hockey Club.

Hockey insider Frank Seravalli set the record straight on February 3, taking to X to share some clarity with fans.

He said, “One note from @utahhockeyclub: These logos presented in the survey to fans are not final drafts – which was clearly stated in the survey. In other words, what you see below may not be the final logo.” So, looks like the buzz around those leaked logos isn’t quite the finished product! Just a little teaser, folks.
