The Sanders’ name comes with its perks and benefits. But before you think of all those glitters and gold. It comes with immense pressure to perform and keep the legacy of the ‘Sanders’ name intact. Shedeur Sanders has done that successfully after producing one of the best seasons in Colorado’s history. That not only helped Shedeur to seal his top spot in the NFL draft but also helped Hunter win the Heisman. With Shedeur already having proved his mettle, the responsibility becomes immense on the other Sanders’ name: Shilo Sanders.
Shilo Sanders was unexpectedly not invited to the NFL Combine, unlike his brother, Shedeur. However, the move came with its own criticisms, since, unlike Shedeur, Shilo is touted at best to be a later-round pick. Shilo did respond to the ongoing criticism and said, “I didn’t get invited to the combine, but I brought the combine to me“. Well, Shilo did bring the Combine to Colorado as he partnered with Zybek Sports, a local company responsible for keeping time in the NFL Combine for almost 13 years. Shilo did drills as the company’s owner, Mike Weinstein, arrived at the campus. But is that enough?
Well, Shilo still would need to showcase his skills in an actual scenario where scouts could watch him and assess him. In that sense, the Pro-Day is the best occasion for Shilo to make his mark, and it probably would be his last chance to do that. Shilo’s mother, Pilar Sanders, was seen cheering for her beloved son from the sidelines as Shilo was tying up laces to get ready for the sprints.

She posted the story on Instagram with her daughter, and Shilo’s sister, Shelomi Sanders, sitting together. She remarked in the video about Shilo’s incredible size and said, “My baby is looking huuge !! My baby looks like a sprinter today”. Then she started looking in all the directions for Shedeur, but couldn’t find him, as she said. “Where’s he (Shedeur) at? Shedeur’s not here yet? “. Notably, both Shedeur and Shilo will need to showcase their talent on the Colorado Buffaloes’ pro-day, for more than several reasons.
