If you want to perform your best on the greens, you better have a trusted caddie by your side. And it helps if your caddie is also your best friend. For Max Homa, Joe Greiner is that guy. Talking about his longtime caddie in February ahead of the WM Phoenix Open, Homa called him the best caddie. And, well, he said more! “I mean this with no disrespect to any other caddies, I am friends with a lot of you guys, but Joe is the best caddie on the planet. He works his tail off, he is a phenomenal golfer himself. He has amazing feel. He played professional golf.”

Looking at this, you’d expect them to stay together with the Masters Tournament ever so close. But, unfortunately, that is not the case. In the latest news, the two have separated. In the PGA Tour X update, Max Homa discussed this situation: “Joe and I made memories for a lifetime and can’t be more thankful for all the hard work. We have parted ways and it will be sad to see him go. I’ll always be grateful to have walked the fairways with one of my best friends.”

But the question is: why did this happen?

This is a developing story…
