The season officially starts with the preseason event at the Bowman Gray Stadium, and this historic track is hosting a Cup Series event after more than 50 years. However, there’s no doubt that the season opener has everyone’s eyes fixated on one driver, Kyle Busch. Busch is in search of a redemption arc after a winless 2024, and his wife, Samantha Busch, is ready to join him every step of the way.
Taking to her Instagram account, Samantha Busch spoke about her feelings on the return of the season. While it is true that the off-season does help you to spend some quality time with your family, embarking on the season brings in excitement and that adrenaline rush for which Samantha seems pumped up.
Samantha talks about the dilemma at the beginning of the season
On February 2nd, the season officially begins and the first event starts with the Cook Out Clash at the Bowman Gray Stadium. This means drivers and their families will be on the move again, traveling from one track to another. After Bowman Gray, the races are scheduled at Daytona followed by a usual circuit that NASCAR creates.
Recently, Samantha opened up about how she feels, now that the season has started. She is someone who is known to travel with her husband through the races and keep his morals up. She recently hosted a Q and A Session on Instagram and answered some questions. One of the questions asked, “The NASCAR season begins tomorrow. Do you wish there was more “off” time?”.
Answering the question, Samantha Busch said, “Yes and no it’s nice to be home but I also like travelling and getting back into the swing of things. We travel so much, I get little antsy when we are home too long”. For those who like to travel, staying at home for too long can certainly get irritating. It seems as though Samantha is on the same bandwagon. She is seen at most of Busch’s races and is always in the thick of things when the Richard Childress Racing driver makes it to victory lane. Samantha will hope that she gets more chances to hoist a trophy along with her husband during her travels across the country. However, it’s not just Samantha, her kids too seem to be loving the racing life.
Samantha and Kyle Busch have two beautiful children together, Brexton and Lennix Busch, and the off-season gives them enough time to spend with the family. However, even through the off-season, young Brexton Busch was pursuing his dirt racing goals. The little Rowdy secured his first Golden Driller at the Tulsa Shootout in 2025 as Kyle Busch also raced along with him, picking up a couple of heat race wins. It’s clear that racing runs in the family, as Samantha and the kids prepare for the new season ahead.
