If there is any player who has been consistent in performing, even after a league switch, it is Brooks Koepka. Unlike other players like Phil Mickelson or Jon Rahm, who struggled to perform in the majors, Koepka has been on a roll with both the LIV schedule and the majors. After joining the league in the middle of 2022, he has won five titles so far. But with the recent incidents of his presence at TGL and Fred Couples’s shocking revelation, it has raised some doubts for the league.
To defy the rumors and continue with his impressive performance, the golfer has again set the standard with his runner-up finish at the LIV Golf Singapore. Last year, he won the Singapore and Greenbrier events. Even though he showcased a brilliant performance with his rounds of 67-69-65. As compared to his previous year’s performance, he failed to match the score, as his win had 66-64-68 rounds in 2024 Singapore.
Despite failing to defend his title, he got support from his biggest supporter. His wife and acclaimed actor Jena Sims shared a soothing message through her Instagram story. Sims shared the scorecard of Koepka along with the caption, “Strong finish now come home!!!.” Besides the disheartening loss of 4 strokes to Joaquin Niemann, the golfer has showcased a notable performance this year, too.

Following a strong performance last year, which included two victories and multiple top-10 finishes, Koepka has continued to showcase his consistency this season. So far, he has recorded two top-10 finishes, including a runner-up result at the Singapore event and T7 at Adelaide. His performances, along with praise from his wife, Sims, highlight how he could remain a key player in the league. However, Koepka himself has yet to provide any clear confirmation regarding his continued future in the league.
Koepka’s Uncertainty Amidst Speculation
Despite his steady performance, Koepka has expressed concerns about a potential league change. Speculation grew after Fred Couples hinted at his return to the PGA Tour, stating, “I believe he really wants to come back and play the Tour.” While this fueled rumors, Koepka’s own comments before the LIV Golf Singapore event added further intrigue.
“Everybody seems to have their own opinion, and no one asks me,” he remarked. Rather than outright dismissing the speculation, he acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding his future. “Like I’ve said before, I’m not in those rooms. I’ve got a contract obligation out here to fulfill, and then we’ll see what happens.”
Koepka joined LIV Golf in 2022, and with his contract nearing its expiration, questions remain about his next move. Will he continue with the league, or is a return to the PGA Tour on the horizon?
