Max Homa Forced to Feel Helpless After People Get Another Chance to ‘Laugh’ at Him

2 min read

Max Homa is currently battling it out on TPC Sawgrass in his bad form. And both his form and fans seem to be getting to his head. The golfer has missed his third straight cut, with the latest being at The PLAYERS Championship. His last cut? It came back in July last year at The Open Championship. Nothing since then. Despite what he feels are his best efforts, Homa’s putts just aren’t falling, and his swing isn’t translating into results.

So, what does the golfer think about it? I know how hard I work; I know how much I care. So it just feels more just s****y for myself, like internally. I know people probably love this and some people probably hate it for me, but people like to laugh when people aren’t doing well. I would laugh at that because I just don’t know what more I could be doing at the moment.” Undoubtedly, the weight of bad form sits heaviest on a golfer.

The golfer’s helplessness was evident as he stared at the crowd before resuming his focus. He analyzed an 11-foot birdie putt, but it slid by the cup.

This is a developing story…
