Bucks Community Gathers Evidence Against NBA Refs as Tyrese Haliburton’s Game-Winner Ruins Emotional Night

2 min read

Heartbreak for the Bucks! They were already devastated heading into tonight’s Pacers clash due to the tragic passing of former player turned team’s minority owner, Junior Bridgeman. So, they desperately needed a win to give the fans something to cheer about. And they were moments away from achieving that goal, gaining a comfortable three-point lead with less than four seconds remaining. Or so they thought. Unfortunately, Tyrese Haliburton had different plans.

While the Milwaukee team was getting ready to celebrate a win, Haliburton pulled off the ultimate last-second turnaround by hitting a miraculous three from the corner to tie the score. Adding to the Bucks’ misery, the official called a foul on Giannis Antetokounmpo, sending Tyrese to the line for the potential game winning point.

Sure, the Bucks complained about the call and the refs reviewed the play. However, Scott Foster and his team stood by their original decision of the defensive foul on The Greek Freak “for not allowing the offensive player to land safely.” Yes, replay showed that Giannis might have stepped into Haliburton’s landing space during the shot. As a result, the Pacers star got the free throw and converted it to put his team ahead.

Although Antetokounmpo got a chance to win the game in the final second, he bricked the potential game winner and the night ended with the Bucks losing by one point. Obviously, Bucks fans were not pleased with the outcome, and especially Foster’s questionable decision. Calling him out after the game, one fan wrote, “Haliburton literally landed out of bounds. Terrible call.” Meanwhile, another netizen even highlighted the refs’ bad officiating by highlighting another play where Andrew Nembhard clearly steps on the three-point line during a shot attempt but is awarded three points regardless.
