Jason Kelce’s Wife Clears Stance on Eagles Loyalty to Michael Strahan as Travis Kelce Confirms Retirement Stance per Reports

5 min read

What are the odds folks? Yep, the Super Bowl is just around the corner and we’ve got the two heavyweights Chiefs and Eagles for the ultimate night. Y’all might be rooting for your favorites amongst these two, but for some people, it’s not as easy as us. Yeah, it’s getting tough for the Kelce’s, but one family member has finally told which jersey the family will don.

Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie recently made an appearance on Michael Strahan’s ‘Good Morning America’ show.  Where she was asked whether she’d support her husband’s team or her brother-in-law Kelce’s Chiefs. And boy-oh-boy, did Kylie make her stance clear. “I love Travis and I always tune in for his success, but go Birds!” she said. You know Michael, being an Eagles fan himself, was surely pleased to hear that! But wait it’s what Kylie said soon after the interview that made heads turn around.

A funny—or let’s just say baffling thing happened on Kylie’s podcast, Not Gonna Lie. She spilled the beans about her daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett’s jerseys, revealing that they are rooting for their favorite uncle. Kylie remarked, “I will say, we have made moves to get the girls ‘Go Uncle Trav’ shirts because they love their uncle.” She then added, “And of course, they love cheering him on. And to be fair, they love cheering on the Birds too, but he is our family and I want to make sure the girls feel included.” Man, isn’t that thoughtful and confusing at the same time?

Kylie bleeds Philly green and has stood firm in her loyalty to the Eagles. Unlike her potential future sister-in-law, Taylor Swift who did the opposite. It’s pretty funny how the Kelces are divided into Super Bowl matchups at their home as well. Just imagine them sitting in front of the TV or even in the stands. One will revel in joy while the other will be left heartbroken. But jokes apart, it’s all good in the end as any side winning is a happy moment for Kylie. The real question, however, was about Travis Kelce’s retirement plans and now we finally have some answers on that!

Insider reveals Travis Kelce’s retirement stance as he nears a potential 3-peat win

You see the Chiefs’ TE is 35 and still feels he has some gas left in the tank (he’s not wrong about it). That guy helped his team clinch a spot in the Super Bowl, and now a lot of his fans are curious about his retirement plans and if he’s planning to take a long vacation with his pop sensation gf, Taylor Swift. Interestingly, an insider has revealed some key details about Kelce’s retirement stance and we are here for it. “Whether the Chiefs win or lose, he would want to either go for the four-peat or avenge losing in the Super Bowl and would love to try to get back there,” the sources revealed to Daily Mail.

So, turns out that Chiefs fans have nothing to worry about as Travis will be back for another season after he scores the Lombardi trophy in a historic 3-peat win. The source further revealed, “When it comes to his success in acting and podcasting and seeing the opportunities his brother [Jason] has had after his retirement, Travis is not ready to retire himself.” Well, Jason left the Eagles clan after announcing his retirement in March 2024 and has taken over the digital landscape now. He is successfully keeping fans entertained with his podcast, New Heights, which the younger Kelce sibling co-hosts and has other TV and sports commentary commitments as well. But maybe Travis is not ready to join his brother yet and wants some more time on the gridiron before he leaves the league for good.

Even if Travis ends up retiring anytime soon, the Chiefs HC believes that the TE has immense coaching potential. While he was invited as a guest on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, Reid admitted, “He would be a heck of a football coach. He’s able to get up there, explain things, and teach these young guys what he sees and feels.”  Well, it makes sense for Kelce to join Reid in training the upcoming NFL talent because this guy has cracked down the whole success mantra.

Despite a season full of highs and lows, he still enjoyed some good moments on the field. He scored 97 receptions for 823 yards and 3 touchdowns. Sure, there were some hiccups, but he showed up big-time in the playoffs. He clocked 117 receiving yards and a touchdown against the Texans, breaking Jerry Rice’s record for the most 100-yard receiving games in the postseason. So, it’s no wonder folks are questioning if he’s thinking about calling it quits. Whether they win or lose the Super Bowl, he’s gearing up to give it his all, one more time.
