What Happened at Chase Center? Eyewitnesses Reveal Scary Details After Major Security Alert Halted Warriors vs Pistons

2 min read

Looks like the only thing capable enough of stopping the Warriors’ momentum right now is the fire alarm in their own arena. Yes, as the Bay Area team faced the Pistons tonight, aiming to extend their three-game winning streak, a sudden security concern in Chase Center stopped the game right in its tracks for a brief moment, as panic set in among Dub Nation.

The incident occurred following the end of the first quarter. With the fire alarm blaring, the game was paused and the fans were instructed to head to their nearest exit. “Attention: There has been a fire alarm reported in the building. Proceed to the nearest exit and leave the building. Do not use elevators.” The message on the jumbotron read, as the crowd began clearing the arena.

Veteran insider Tim Kawakami even reported that he could smell smoke. But turns out, there was nothing to worry about as the fans were told to settle back in their seats and the game resumed after the minor halt. Even the on-air announcers addressed the scare and assured that things were back to normal, “There was a fire alarm going. We are all clear. We are all safe here.”
