No Olivia Dunne in Sight, Haleigh Bryant’s Successful Injury Return Helped LSU Tigers With Massive Win at Purple & Gold Podium Challenge

Olivia Dunne is not in sight. According to LSU Tigers gymnastics coach, Jay Clark, she is out of the regular lineup because of a knee injury. And when will she return? There’s no update available on it. Then what will be the Tigers’ prospects in the race to defend the title? Who will stand up at the clutch moments to keep the scoreboard going? Well. Fret not. Dial H for everything.

On February 21, Haleigh Bryant appeared in all four gymnastics events for the first time this season. Her effort against Kentucky panned out to be magnificent. How so? The defending champion went past the ranked opponent by a meager margin of 0.125 points. Seven days later, on this Friday, there was another challenge waiting for the Tigers. This time in the Podium Challenge, they had to counter George Washington in PMAC. And who remained the soul saver? Haleigh Bryant.

On Friday, Bryant’s all-around performance helped the Tigers win another gymnastics battle in the score line of 198.125-195.475.
