Well, there’s no official confirmation, but Raptors fans in Canada might just have a shot at getting the answer straight from VC himself. The Toronto Raptors and Bell Canada have teamed up to bring something special to fans—the Bell Sky Slam Contest. And here’s where things get even more exciting.
Bell Canada recently released a video featuring Vince Carter himself, and he made a bold promise. “What am I most excited about? For fans to be able to kind of get a behind-the-scenes look of what it was like and how I think and how I actually did the dunk and see how hard it actually is. But my goal was to make it look easy for you, so as you’re looking at the point go through it, you kind of get to relive those moments,” he said.
So, what exactly is the Bell Sky Slam Contest? It’s an augmented reality (AR) experience that lets fans witness the magic of Carter’s iconic 2000 NBA Dunk Contest performance—right above their city skyline.
Right now, the event is in full swing. The contest kicked off on February 1, 2025, and runs until March 4, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. But it’s not just about celebrating Carter’s legacy—fans also have the chance to win big prizes. So, if you’ve ever wanted to experience the VC’s era one more time, this is your shot.

If you’re a Raptors fan, this is your chance to score big. A total of 100 prizes are up for grabs, including two tickets to a Toronto Raptors home game at the Ball Fan Deck in Scotiabank Arena during the 2024-25 season. Not only that, there’s also an autographed Vince Carter Raptors jersey waiting for a lucky winner.
But not everyone can enter. The contest is only open to legal residents of Canada who are at least 13 years old. However, if you work for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, Bell Canada, the Toronto Raptors, the NBA, or any of their affiliates, you’re out of luck. Immediate family members of employees are also not eligible. The final call on eligibility? That’s up to the Contest Sponsors.
