The Thunder looked like they had this one in the bag—until Anthony Edwards decided otherwise. Down by 25, the Timberwolves flipped the script and pulled off a wild comeback against one of the league’s hottest teams. Edwards wasn’t just scoring; he was everywhere. He racked up 17 points and came through with a monster block on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in OT that had fans losing their minds.

Minnesota’s record now stands at 32-27 after handing OKC just their 11th loss of the season. The Thunder, who have been running through the league, suddenly looked vulnerable. Finch also voiced his frustration over the way Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gets officiated. “And then you can’t really touch Shai,” he continued. “It’s a very frustrating thing, and it takes a lot of mental toughness to play through it.” Well, Shai is 2nd in the league in free throw attempted at 8.8.

This comes in  after every time Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stepped up to the free-throw line during their previous matchup on 14th Feb, the Target Center crowd in Minneapolis made sure he heard them. Whenever Shai prepared to take his shots in the second quarter, fans wasted no time trolling him. “Free-throw merchant,” they chanted, letting him know exactly what they thought of his frequent trips to the line.

This is a developing story…
